Teaching at NYU has its benefits; awesome guest lecturers.  This time it was Jay Berkowitz from Ten Golden Rules.  He stopped by and enlightened our class with a presentation about the influence of social on search.  If you don’t know Jay, he happens to be a thought leader in the online marketing community.  His credentials include presenting at conferences like the Direct Marketing Association, American Marketing Association, Affiliate Summit, Ad-Tech, The CEO Roundtable, Pubcon, just to name a few.  Also known for, and how I got to know him, being the voice behind Ten Golden Rules Podcast.

This was brought up at my office a few weeks ago.  Apparently, there is a subculture on youtube of fans watching haulers.  Young girls who put on a video of what they bought from the mall.  Includes clothing, makeup, trendy wear, etc.  Apparently this is becoming bigger than your normal youtube video, as I share in this video.
