Event held at the Taj Lounge – Oct. 6th
About forty five eager future social media marketers (some already) descended on the Taj Lounge last night. The majority of the crowd were small business owners along with some individuals that were looking develop their personal brand.
We went over the 3 C’s s of social media, which is to Create an effective profile, Connect with other users, and Converse – educate, and engage with your audience via Linkedin, twitter, and facebook. I thank you all for coming out and making this a successful event and I look forward to following up with you. Thank you Bryan Adams for enriching my presentation, James Nixon, and Keenan David from the New York Times, the Taj Lounge and Path Interactive.
As I mentioned last night, please let me know what you thought of the event? What other online marketing topics would interest you? And what about the idea of having a small workshop to guide you in creating your own profile?
Please feel free to leave your site at the footer of the comments to give yourself a plug.
And finally, as requested, view the presentation with some extra notes on my profile, just click on view full profile, then scroll down my profile to where it says slide share presentations. Let me know if you have any issues, Presentation.

I really encourage anyone unfamiliar with properly using social media for marketing to attend your seminar! It was just so full of information and 2 hours was just not enough time! Hope that there will be Part 2!

For an attorney whose firm is just conceptualizing how to best create a web presence, this event was fantastic.
I look forward to subsequent events and beginning my LinkedIn immersion.

As a small immigration law firm, we require innovative marketing techniques. Mr. Quinones’ presentation on using social media was eye-opening, because he discussed using marketing methods we had not previously considered. Mr. Quinones’ presentation was focused and he simplified the complicated world of ever-growing social media. Mr. Quinones’ experience in the marketing field was obvious and he was able to articulate all important things business owners need to know about PROPERLY using social media and how the Internet “works” when it comes to results. I look forward to attending any future seminars presented by Mr. Quinones. If you are small business owner looking for an effective way to marketing your business or products through the Internet, you must speak with Mr. Quinones!

Hi Ruben,
Thank you for the presentation yesterday. I found it very informative. Indeed, not having your contact information handy, I just searched for “nyc seo” in LinkedIn and you were first on the list. I guess the proof is in the pudding, right?
