Social Media discussion on Linked, Twitter, facebook

Yesterday, we held the first of three “I have a profile, now what?” events.  We touched on creating an effective profiles, connecting with other users, and having a conversation and engaging with your audience via Linkedin, twitter, and facebook.   Bryan Adams went over some tools that can be used to manage updates on some or all of these mediums.I have a profile, now what - 9-30 003

Thank you Bryan for pitching in, and thank you Greg Dashkin from All Pro advertising for having us use your space.  Please keep him in mind for promotional products in the same vein of complimenting your brand.   Also for Mitchell’s Data Movers for providing a stress free, hassle free delivery of chairs to the event.

I thank my attendees for attending and spreading the word and I hope that you were able to leave with some insight on utilizing these tools for your business and personal brand efforts.  I look forward to next week’s event at Taj Lounge.

What did you think of the class?  What other topics would you be interested in the future as far as online marketing?

Ruben: Your session was so helpful. I would love this to be a two-part seminar, with a second one pretty much just for questions and more advanced info. Between the first and second seminar we could all be updating our listings, trying things out and then we’d be ready for “I Have my Profile, Part 2.”

Terrific seminar! Full of great content, practical tips and interesting people, both attendees & presenters. Love the Part 2 idea. Want to know more about blogging, ustream, radio, widgets, etc.
